I just love the way that when a slave dies at the oar, the handle just stays there. In reality, the oar would trail in the water and the handle would fly forwards causing total mayhem. In all other respects it is just like my rowing team training for the Great River Race.

That's what's fun about this clip- the lack of realism. But, yeah it also has a lot in common with my with experience of team rowing.
